Working Towards a Better Tomorrow

Education, Youth and Children’s(EYC)

work aims to support innovative approaches to strengthen education access, retention, transition and improved learning outcomes for primary, secondary, tertiary and out-of-school youth. The approach focuses on holistic development of children and youths into reproductive members of society as well as strengthening services delivery systems at local level. Our work places emphasis on multi-stakeholder approach to education and youth programming, capacity development, policy enhancement and promotion of entrepreneurship for out-of-school youth.

Partnership and resource Development; This area of work speaks to JRS’s strategy and approach to resources and asset development interventions aimed at making organisations sustainable JRS works with communities, individuals and Non-profits in development of their assets as well as raising resources with a strong bias to local resources to reduce dependency on external aid to fund their development project.

Policy, Research and Advocacy- The policy, research and Advocacy work focuses on influencing and fostering favourable policy frameworks and an enabling environment for organized giving social justice in Uganda and beyond. JRSF partners with other civil organization at the county, National, Regional and pan African levels to realize greater social justice for communities through advocacy strategies premised on research.

Capacity and Organization

Development-

JRSF believes that sustainable development is only achievable through strategic investment in local institutions. The theme focuses on development of vained strategies to enhance the capacity of community organization in the areas of leadership, governance, internal operations, partnerships, resources development and skills acquisitions aimed at drive their own development genda.
